*We will be phasing out the PALS webbing on the rear of Kywi pouches with Brookwood Laminate Squadron laser cut PALS backers. Squadron is currently in use with many of our current pouches. During the transition, orders may contain pouches with webbing, the new laser cut backer, or a mix of both.
There is no guarantee of which version you will receive.
These pouches have Laser cut Laminated cordura fronts. These are not replacing our standard kywi pouches, we're making them on a limited basis.
The laser cut Laminate has some nice benefits but also some negatives. Such as the raw laser cut edge on the top/bottom of the pouch body is not as strong as a folded edge. The laminate is as close to being fused as 2 pieces of cordua can get and any possible fraying will be minimal to none. But as we cannot garauntee the life of that edge in this application the pouch will be fully warrantied except the edge of the pouch.
