*First 9 slings listed are pictured at the end of the photo lineup.
Simple ITW quick release sling.
A more modern take on a sling I have made for myself for a long time. Constructed with Laminate Cordura from Brookwood or Diversitex (color dependent) and 1" webbing with 2 recessed QD buckles and an ITW non-slip quick-release cam buckle.
The integral battery pocket holds either 1x 18650, 2x 18350 or 2x Cr123 batteries. For a normal Right-handed sling setup, the pocket faces up/out and lefties down/in (deal with it). If you do not wish to utilize the pocket - leave it empty and cinch the one-wrap closure tight OR cut the row of stitching on either side of the pouch and remove it. It's a desire of mine and placed in a location that works for me.
This sling is made for myself and constructed how I want with zero exceptions. Mr. Sling is not made for you. I love the more modern slide-adjust buckle designs out there but always return to the old-school spring-cam buckle as I prefer the ability to over-tighten past the normal working range for rifle storage, or getting an old-school tight sling shooting position.
I prefer keeping it simple and not having a box of hardware on my sling. The stock-side QD buckle is hard sewn, you are not changing it or adjusting at this end of the sling. Once I have a sling adjusted to a specific rifle I do not use a tri-glide hardware on the forend attachment, but rather remove that hardware and direct sew the QD attachment to the webbing, something I cannot do on a sold-to-you sling... But I highly encourage you once the sling is adjusted for you to cut and melt the end of the 1" webbing for a shorter tail or better yet remove the metal tri-glide and hand sew the webbing.
Still want to buy it?
How about some more discouragement!
All slings will be assembled with Ranger green thread full-stop. Want a black sling with black thread? Hope you're good at playing pretend. I will be sewing every sling made for the next month or two and I cannot be asked to take 10 seconds and change thread colors. Besides Ranger thread is the new neutral. Some color options will be getting webbing that does not seem like it belongs, but is what I have deemed to be. Want a red sling? Well it has Mulitcam Black webbing and you WILL love it. Desert Tiger? Coyote is so boring and I have a metric shit-ton of MC Arid webbing and it just works.
Remember - you do not have to give me your cash, but when you do it becomes my cash and the sling becomes your sling. I don't want your sling as I can make my own, get the drift? I told you I made this sling for me.
For the next month or three I will be making 100% of the slings in my remote shop away from the production shop. They are slammed and coming into Black Friday and bodily harm was threatened if I pushed it into production. Until then, I will be making a dozen slings today, or not, and listing them as I make them and shipping them separate from anything else you might order. Ordered something else right?
If it is listed, it is made and ready to ship. Take note I am personally sewing these - so good luck on how my stitching looks! Fucking old man readers suck.... Once they are released to the production shop all will be orderable and made on demand.
Slight changes might happen to the overall design. If I make a drastic change, I will update this and adjust pictures as needed.
I warned you. If you do not like the sling gift it to someone you hate.
